Karl Rogers M.D.
Karl M. Rogers, M.D. grew up in the American Virgin Islands where he received a B.A. in Chemistry in 1980 from the University of the Virgin Islands. After receiving his M.S. in Public Health in 1983 from the University of Pittsburgh, he attended Rush Medical College in Chicago where he received his M.D. degree in 1987. Upon graduation, Dr. Rogers moved to Nashville where he completed a medical internship and residency at Baptist Hospital in 1990. He then completed a medical oncology fellowship at Vanderbilt University in 1993. The American Board of Internal Medicine certifies Dr. Rogers in internal medicine and medical oncology.

Adjunct Instructor, Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, 7/1/00 – 6/30/02
Dr. Rogers is an active member of the Nashville Oncology Society, Nashville Academy of Medicine, Tennessee Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Cancer Society, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and is currently serving as Director of Baptist Hospital’s Cancer Center and Baptist Hospital Institutional Review Board.
